looking at the back of the case, it looks like Legends is ad-hoc only ( PSP's have to be in the same room) is there something i'm missing?

I thought that as well...

Not only that but: What are collector cars?

I think there are some cars you can only unlock while In miltiplayer mode...

A Collector car is one you unlock randomly for each class. Each profile can only have one collector out of five for each class. They are just existing cars in the class with unique paint jobs.

By racing and winning against another player with a collector car, you also get their collector car added to your garage, or that's what I assume.

It is only local multiplayer well that sucks :( I guess it really doesn't matter too much since the collecter cars are only the same cars with different skins, still it would be nice to have them.

Well I guess if you beat the game already and all you needed is the collector cars, It wouldn't be "cheating" if you downloaded a saved game file from gamefaqs.com

I would love to connect online to the world and compete with you guys, if you got the PSP, let me know what time you want to compete with me. If the servers for Burnout Legends are down, let me know.

PS: I want to do collector challenges to collect them cars

Well Midnight it looks like you might get your wish, Guess what Sony announced at the Tokyo Game Show!!!

PSP Ad-hoc VIa PS3 internet connection
Read down to the 4th paragraph

I'll also post the Paragraph:

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
"Sony also announced a new online functionality that will let PSP owners engage in ad hoc play over PlayStation Network-connected PlayStation 3s. Matchmaking, friends lists, text chat, and voice chat are among the planned features, and the service will be available via download this fall. All three PSP models (PSP-1000, PSP-2000, PSP-3000) will be able to use this service, and Capcom's Monster Hunter Portable 2nd G will be one of the first games to take advantage of the new connectivity."
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So when this hits older games are you down for a match???? :D
