Gamespot have just posted an article saying of how they got a change of playing the long awaited game at the 2006 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vages.

The playable demo featured only two tracks and a handful of cars to choose from, but thanks to a top-of-the-line widescreen HDTV running the game at 720p, and some high-end Dolby equipment pumping out the game's audio in impressive Dolby 5.1, it was an impressive display nonetheless.

The article also tells of two new online modes: Live Revenge and Save and Share

Live revenge
This mode builds online rivalries with opponents you race online via Xbox Live. It tracks who you play against and how well you do when playing them. Using this system can present rivals in your race, where previously that opponent has taken you down.

Save and Share
This gives the player a chance to show off their skills by recording the action and save it to your 360's HDD. The video can also be uploaded to an EA server so you can show off to everyone.

Finally the article says that there will be some new Crash Junctions in the 360 version of the game.

Check it out at Gamespot.
