Second thing...

There will be a Steam Version as most of you know... and also the DLC should be to get there, but as of today i dont have Steam myself,
i cant update this FAQ with infos about the Steam stuff, but if someone can provide me with the propper information for the Steam version i will happily edit that into the faq too =)

I own the Steam version and yesterday evening I updated it via Steam.
This is very easy.
When you start the Steam front-end it sees that there is an update and download it automaticly.
After the update is downloaded Steam has allready installed it and you can start the game.

After you start the game you have to enter your EA account details again.
I forgot my password so I had to reset the password via the EA page.

I'm not sure if i'm gonna buy the new cars for the PC coz i've bought them allready for the Xbox360.
So I have no info on that.

DR...

LOL, I thought throwing in the couple of "heys" would be enough, maybe it isn't as unique to Qld as it used to be hey.
Our day to day speech is so different to how we talk online & write in forums hey, otherwise people would have trouble understanding what we were trying to say hey.
Still trying to come to grips with the price tag on the boost specials though hey.

Who ARE you? We are all missing the old, normal, Longy. As they say in AUS, he's got kangaroo loose in the top paddock..

We all hope you will recover.

On downside fo the PC DLC I found today. If I can't log in or the network is unavailable for any reason, it won't allow me to select any of the car packs. Given the lack of wide spread broadband here in the US that could suck for some folks to buy it and can't get a connection for whatever reason. :(

That sucks. Of course the plus side to this is that it looks like the DLC is tied to your EA account rather than a specific computer, meaning reinstalls shouldn't be a hassle.

I am sure it is like that, there isnt another way becouse you dont have to download specific data for the purchase,
that means every DLC is included in the latest patch and your EA Account determines if you can use it or not. =)

To bad they didn't cache it. Shouldn't be a big deal for most but I can see it being a pain in the butt when CGN is down.
