Although nothing official has been said on the game yet there still may be a chance of a second appearance of Burnout on the PSP. Hopefully if this is for real the game will rock and hopefully have some new feature.

POst any speculation about the game in this thread. :)

I think this might mean delays on B5, i.e. Dominator is just to whet our appetites. The screen shots look too good to be PS2. Do you think the game play will look like that? No Xbox version, bummer. :( Good thing I also have a PS2 :)

Hello,

We've been overseeing development on Dominator all through 2006 and the game is almost complete.

It will be finished in January.

It's a very different game to B5, and I am sure that you will all enjoy it a lot.

Dust off your chaining skills and get ready to dominate on the new courses.

Sweet! I am psyched for sure. I am a HUGE Burnout fan. Can't wait!

I was browsing the news on 1up.com and I saw a bit on some screenshots from Burnout 5, which then led me here to OP. I had forgotten about this site. I remember registering back in my BO3 heyday last year. I raced every waking moment of the day. Being here sure brings back fond memories (...lol, geez, it's not like it's been years or someone died!). Anyway, I went to the official EA site to see if my rank was still good (I was always top 5 on the PS2 servers) and saw that it wasn't. Time to dust off Takedown and get back on the leader board, lol!

Well since I saw that video that was just posted, I think there will be some things that are the same on there, like the boost. One of the guys at gametrailers has the demo (ask we speak), he may be lying, but i asked him where he got it. So as soon as i find out i will post a message on here.

Guys, I wanna get to know a personal experience on Burnout Dominator, I was thinking of getting the "Burnout Anthology Pack" which I already have Burnout Revenge (red label) for PS2 but that's ok; I really am nostalgic for Burnout 3: Takedown and wanting to play Burnout Dominator, but I don't know if the PSP version is superior, just like GTA:LCS game.

Please convince me, thx

I only own the PSP version.

The PS2 one probably has better graphics than the PSP one.

In terms of gameplay, they are very similar, with the PSP getting two extra free downloadable tracks. The controls obviously differ because one uses a controller while the PSP uses a nub or a dpad.

Thanks alphabeta, I watch a few YouTube videos between them two and some images, The PS2 version is superior in terms of graphics and game controls. as for PSP, would have nice to add the 2 Downloadable tracks but I'll already own them in Revenge and Takedown. The PS2 will be my choice, thanks again alphabeta
