In fact viewing Paradise from the air (when the dev machine wasn't crashing) :yabbas: showed just how much work would be needed to texture all the parts you cannot see from the ground.

And redesign that version of Renderware to support large area rendering. This would at least stop the camera flying into the back of the plane each time it enters a section of Paradise that triggers a render of a different area.

Its not like I can't be done, just look at Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas.

I mean in real life he's probably some guy sat at home in a swivel chair just waiting for someone to bring him some chips... You have no idea what the hell your talking about. I don't sit in front of the tv wishing I had a life like most of the people do in here that have nothing better to do tan rant and rave about what someone posted and shit like that. Now if that quote was not directed to me then I sorry I thought it was..... Anyhow people come on grow up its just a post why even read it or reply if you dont like it. Its not going to stop me or anyone else from posting shit you dont like. Hell now that i know you dont like it. Im going to keep doing just to piss you guys off. You guys are to funny. You all should be in some kinda reality show. I would pay to watch that shit lmao!!!!

It was a civil thread till a lone gunman came into town, walked into a bar, dropped his pants and took a dump on a table.

What happened to the time Criterion said: Why make a new game when we can keep adding to this one.

Then the island came out and they disappeared off the face of the Earth.

And Criterion do have to pay to put updates on the xbox (apparently) and (apparently) is about $20,000. And I'm sure updates on the playstation have to be out on the xbox at the same time in a contract or something. Maybe, just someone said it....so probably not true.

Well at this point they're probably working on other games. It was great how long they supported Paradise, but they can't keep making DLC forever as people will lose interest eventually, and unless they made another map expansion most people wouldn't be too interested in any DLC at this point. Anyways I'm happy they have moved on in a way, hopefully they're working on their Need for Speed game which should be pretty good, and maybe even Burnout 6 (although that's a long way off).

Personally, Paradise is starting to wear a little thin, but I think people would still buy the game if they haven't ever played it since it was released back at the start of '08

GAP members (see my signature) who have the game (and the time) get together to complete or help complete challenges every Tuesday evening. Just played last night and helped several people knock out some bike challenges. It was the first time in a long time I played on the bikes; I actually had fun.
