They said on CG's FAQ the sponsor code cars were only cosmetic..?

"Sponsor Codes"

When we launched Burnout Paradise in January 2008 there were a number of sponsor cars that were available at launch around the world.

These cars were cosmetic only. There were no performance changes made to them whatsoever.

Unfortunately we had to disable this feature and it is now no longer in the game. You are unable to enter any codes that you may find on the internet.

I remember the Steel Wheel car is heavy like a tank unlike any of the other GT cars. Am I right, or did I remember incorrectly?

ur right, steel wheels was actually Criterion's own sponsorship car (if that makes sense), so it was actually heavier, it has the same specs as the hunter citizen

Why not you know you want to piss everyone off at the junctions when people are trying to do fast times and now you wouldn't have to rely on the spawning of them you could make them yourself

If you have a memory card just put your game save on it and then take out your HDD. Now go put the code in and save the game. turn the xbox off and put the HDD back in. In theory it should work :P

I don't suggest doing that on your PS3. I had the PS3 not able to read my save game file on my memory card after deleting the game updates & redownloading them. If you want to try that on your PS3, make a new account, a fake account. An account that you won't play the game on. Then, try to delete the updates, then enter the codes, then download the updates again. I don't know about the X360, but on the PS3, I lost everything. Take that as your warning.
